Representative Michael Pollock
Michael “Sarge” Pollock is an American politician serving as a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from the 51st district. He assumed office on November 29, 2021.
Pollock earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Campbellsville University. Since 2001, he has worked as an insurance risk advisor for Jessie Insurance of Central Kentucky. He was elected to the Kentucky House of Representatives in November 2021.
In addition to his political career, Pollock has been involved in various community services. He has volunteered with Green River Ministry and has been a 5th Region basketball official. He is also a member of the Homeplace on Green River Board and has been inducted into the Breckinridge County Hall of Fame.
In the Kentucky House of Representatives, Pollock serves on several committees. He is a member of the House Session Standing Committee on Agriculture, Tourism & Outdoor Recreation, and Banking & Insurance, where he serves as Vice Chair. He is also a member of the Interim Joint Committee on Banking & Insurance, Agriculture, and Tourism, Small Business, and Information Technology. Furthermore, he is a member of the Government Contract Review Committee.
Pollock is also a member of several caucuses, including the Equine Caucus, Bourbon Trail Caucus, Kentucky History Caucus, Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperatives Caucus, Kentucky-Israel Caucus, Engage and Empower Caucus, and Pro-Life Caucus.
