Representative Mike Clines
Mike Clines is an American politician who has served as a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives since January 2023. He represents Kentucky’s 68th House district.
Electoral History: Mike was elected on November 8, 2022, in the 2022 Kentucky House of Representatives election against Democratic opponent Kelly Jones. He assumed office on January 1, 2023.
Education: Mike attended St. Mary Elementary School and Bishop Brossart High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University and a Master of Educational Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1998.
Career: For 27 years, Mike worked in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington school system as a teacher, guidance counselor, and principal. He has three siblings. Mike Clines earned a B.A. in secondary education and teaching/English from Northern Kentucky University and an M.Ed. in educational leadership and administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1998.
Clines’ career experience includes working as an educational consultant with Leadership Squared LLC, the superintendent of schools of the Diocese of Covington, and an English teacher and coach with Covington Catholic High School. He has served on the board of the Go Norse Fund, on the board of the School of Education Advisory Board of Xavier University, and as the chair of the ACT Kentucky State Organization.
Personal Life: Mike is married to Tammy Clines and they have three children. They reside in Alexandria, Kentucky.
