Nick Wilson Gordon, born Nicolas Joseph Caleb Wilson on June 11, 1990, is an American politician and former public defender who is a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives. He is also known for his participation in the reality competition show Survivor.

Nick was born and raised in Williamsburg, Kentucky. His parents divorced while he was growing up, and his grandmother helped raise him and his four siblings while they stayed with their father. He became the first person in his family to graduate from college when he completed a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Kentucky. At Kentucky, he became a member of Kappa Sigma (Beta-Nu) fraternity. He eventually went on to the University of Alabama School of Law and graduated to become a public defender. While at Alabama, his mother tragically passed away due to a drug overdose.

In addition to his political and legal career, Nick is also known for his participation in the reality competition show Survivor. He was voted the winner of Survivor’s thirty-seventh season, Survivor: David vs. Goliath, in 2018, and returned in 2020 for the fortieth season, Survivor: Winners at War, to compete against former winners in the Survivor franchise, where he would finish in seventh place.

In 2022, Nick, a Republican, won an election to become a state representative of the 82nd district in the Kentucky House of Representatives. As a legislator, he has served on several committees including the House Session Standing Committee Families & Children, Judiciary, and Tourism & Outdoor Recreation. He is also a member of several caucuses including the Mountain Caucus, Northern Kentucky Caucus, Bourbon Trail Caucus, Kentucky History Caucus, Tennessee Valley Authority Caucus, Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperatives Caucus, Kentucky Sportsmen’s Caucus, Kentucky Nonprofit Caucus, and Pro-Life Caucus.
