Representative Patrick Flannery
Patrick Flannery Laferty is a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 96. He is a member of the Republican Party. He assumed office on January 1, 2021, and his current term ends on January 1, 2025. He is running for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 96.
Patrick Flannery was born on December 29, 1980. He is an attorney and businessman by profession. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown College and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Northern Kentucky University Chase School of Law. He has also served as the Carter County Republican Party Chair and the Carter County Attorney from 2011 to 2014.
In his tenure as a legislator, he has been assigned to several committees. For the years 2023-2024, he was assigned to the House Appropriations and Revenue Committee, House Judiciary Committee, Licensing, Occupations, and Administrative Regulations Committee, and the House Natural Resources and Energy Committee. In the years 2021-2022, he was assigned to the House Banking and Insurance Committee, Licensing, Occupations, and Administrative Regulations Committee, and the House Natural Resources and Energy Committee.
He has sponsored several pieces of legislation, demonstrating his active involvement in the legislative process. He is also a candidate in the upcoming general election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 96 on November 5, 2024.
