Representative Tina Bojanowski
Tina Bojanowski is an American politician and a member of the Democratic Party. She represents District 32 in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
Born on August 29, 1964, Tina Bojanowski has made Louisville, Kentucky her home. She has a strong academic background with a Bachelor of Science and an MBA in Management from the University of Louisville. Furthering her education, she also received a MAT and a Ph.D. in Education from Bellarmine University.
Before her political career, Bojanowski was an educator with Jefferson County Public Schools. Her commitment to education is evident in her work as a teacher at Watterson Elementary School, a public school in Louisville, Kentucky.
In addition to her teaching career, Bojanowski has been a member of the Jefferson County Teaching Association Board of Directors and the National Alliance on Mental Illness Kentucky Board of Directors. These roles have allowed her to advocate for mental health and contribute to the educational community in Kentucky.
Bojanowski’s political career began when she was elected to represent the 32nd district in the Kentucky House of Representatives in 2018. She defeated the Republican incumbent, Phil Moffett, and assumed office on January 1, 2019. Her current term ends on January 1, 2025.
During her tenure, Bojanowski has been assigned to several committees. In the years 2023-2024, she served on the House Education Committee, House State Government Committee, and House Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection Committee. In the years 2021-2022, she was assigned to the Economic Development & Workforce Investment Committee, House Education Committee, Small Business & Information Technology Committee, and House Transportation Committee. In the years 2019-2020, she served on the House Education Committee, Health and Family Services Committee, and House State Government Committee.
Tina Bojanowski is running for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 32. The Democratic primary for this office on May 21, 2024, was canceled. She is now running in the general election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 32 on November 5, 2024.
