Representative Beth Billings
Beth Billings is a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing District 56. She is a member of the Republican Party and assumed office on January 8, 2024. Her current term ends on January 10, 2028.
Beth was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and currently resides in Destrehan, Louisiana. She earned an associate degree in legal studies from Tulane University in 2017. Her career experience includes owning and operating Wicked Redhead Boutique and Filthy Rich of New Orleans. She has also worked as a retail supervisor with Calvin Klein Cosmetics and Fragrances and as a real estate agent with Gertrude Gardner Realtors.
Beth has served as the vice chairwoman of the Louisiana Republican Party, on the St. Charles Parish Council, and as the president of Republican Women of St. Charles Parish. She is a strong conservative Republican who is Pro-Life, Pro- Second Amendment, Pro- Law Enforcement, and Pro-Business. Ensuring that the taxpayers’ dollars are not wasted, our families are protected, and essential services and critical infrastructure are maintained and expanded are her top priorities in Baton Rouge.
Beth won the election to the Louisiana House of Representatives to represent District 56 outright in the primary on October 14, 2023, after the primary and general election were canceled. She is committed to making Louisiana a place where the best and brightest can earn competitive wages and create an environment that not only retains existing business and industry but also attracts new commerce to the area.
Beth is married to David Billings, a Principal Engineer at Shell Projects and Technology. They have lived in St. Charles Parish for 34 years and have three children and one grandchild. Beth and her family are proud to call St. Charles Parish home and she is dedicated to serving her community.
