Representative Brett Geymann
Brett Geymann is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 35 in the Louisiana House of Representatives. He assumed office on January 19, 2021, and his current term ends on January 10, 2028. Geymann won re-election to the Louisiana House of Representatives to represent District 35 outright in the primary on October 14, 2023, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Geymann is a former Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing District 35 from 2004 to 2016. He graduated from South Beauregard High School and earned a B.S. in finance from McNeese State University. His career experience includes owning Patriot Construction and Development and co-owning Outfitter Ink.
In terms of committee assignments, Geymann was assigned to the Appropriations Committee, House Education Committee, and Joint Legislative Budget Committee in 2023-2024. In 2021-2022, he was assigned to the Commerce Committee and Natural Resources and Environment Committee.
