Marcus Anthony Bryant is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from the 96th district. He assumed office on January 13, 2020.

Born Marcus Anthony Bryant, he is a member of the Democratic Party and a proud father of three children. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Southern University and a Juris Doctor from the Southern University Law Center.

In 2007 and 2008, Bryant was a clerk for the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. He also owns an independent law firm, where he specializes in injury law.

Bryant was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives in November 2019 and assumed office on January 13, 2020. His current term ends on January 10, 2028.

As a State Representative, Bryant represents the parishes of Iberia, Lafayette, and St. Martin. His office is located at 209 West Main Street Suite 405, New Iberia, LA 70560.

In addition to his legislative duties, Bryant is also a member of several committees. These include the Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and Rural Development committee, the Natural Resources and Environment committee, the Ways and Means committee, the Atchafalaya Basin Program Oversight Committee, and the Joint Legislative Committee on Capital Outlay.

Bryant is also a part of several caucuses and delegations. He is the Vice Chair of the Democratic Caucus, a member of the Acadiana Delegation, and a member of the Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus.
