Representative Tammy Phelps

Tammy T. Phelps is an American politician serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from the 3rd district. She assumed office on January 13, 2020.

Career: After graduating from Captain Shreve High School, Phelps earned her degrees and entered the field of education administration. Her political career began when she was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives in November 2019 and assumed office on January 13, 2020.

In addition to her political career, Phelps has also served in various roles in the field of education. She was the Louisiana School Boards Association President from 2009 to 2010 and a Caddo Parish School Board Member from 2004 to 2010. She also served as a National School Boards Association Education Lobbyist from 2004 to 2010.

Phelps represents the 3rd district, which is located in Caddo Parish. Her office is located at 810 E. 70th Street Suite A, Shreveport, LA 71106. She is eligible to serve through the 2028 term.
