Representative Zee Zeringue Contact information

Jerome Zeringue, also known as Zee, is a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing District 52. He assumed office on January 11, 2016, and his current term ends on January 10, 2028.

Zeringue is a member of the Republican Party. He was first elected to the chamber in 2015 and has since been re-elected in 2019 and 2023 to continue his representation of District 52.

Born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Zeringue graduated from Thibodaux High School and went on to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Louisiana State University, with degrees in zoology and fisheries biology, respectively.

In addition to his political career, Zeringue has worked as a principle with Progressive Coastal Consultants. His career experience includes a strong background in coastal and environmental issues, which has been a significant asset in his role as a representative.

Throughout his tenure, Zeringue has been assigned to various committees. In the 2023-2024 term, he served as the Chairman of the Appropriations Committee and the Joint Legislative Budget Committee. He was also a member of the Technology and Cybersecurity Committee and the Select Committee on Louisiana Economic Recovery.

In the 2021-2022 term, Zeringue served as the Chair of the Appropriations Committee and the Vice chair of the Joint Legislative Budget Committee. He was also a member of the Joint Capital Outlay Committee.

In the 2019-2020 term, Zeringue was assigned to the Joint Legislative Budget Committee, the Appropriations Committee, the Judiciary Committee, and the Natural Resources and Environment Committee.
