Representative Abigail Griffin

Abigail Griffin is a Republican politician who serves as a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 34. She was first elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2020 and 2022. She lives in Levant, Maine, with her husband James and their five children and six grandchildren. She is a retired teacher who earned a B.S. in education in 1977. She is a community volunteer and a member of the Health and Human Services Committee in the legislature. She has sponsored or co-sponsored several bills related to health care, education, and research. She is passionate about supporting the health and wellness of older Maine residents, expanding coordinated community programming, and ensuring the provision of medically necessary behavioral health care services for children in their homes and communities
