Anne-Marie Mastraccio is a member of the Democratic Party serving in the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 142. She assumed office on December 7, 2022, and her current term is set to end on December 4, 2024. Mastraccio was elected to this position in the general election held on November 8, 2022.

Residing in Sanford, Maine, Mastraccio has a history of public service. She is serving her fifth non-consecutive term in the Maine House of Representatives. During her tenure, she has been a returning member of the Health Coverage, Insurance and Financial Services Committee and the Government Oversight Committee. In her previous legislative sessions, she served as House chair of the Government Oversight Committee and was a member of the Labor, Commerce, Research and Economic Development Committee and the Joint Select Committee on Maine’s Workforce and Economic Future.

Mastraccio is dedicated to improving the business climate in Maine and increasing access to skills training for unemployed and underemployed workers. Her experience extends beyond the legislature, having been a member of the Sanford Regional Economic Growth Council and serving over 30 years as an elected official in Sanford, including a term as mayor.

Before her political career, Mastraccio was educated and employed as a dental hygienist in Boston. After moving to Maine in 1980, she worked for over 20 years in the optometric practice of her husband, Albert. They have two married children and three grandchildren. Mastraccio’s commitment to public service is evident in her legislative efforts and community involvement.
