About Representative Daniel Sayre
Daniel Sayre is a member of the Democratic Party serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 135. His career spans over 35 years in book publishing, focusing on scientific and technical disciplines for professionals and college students. He has also been involved in the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), where he served two terms as a Director and chaired the ASEE’s Corporate Member Council. In recent years, Sayre’s consulting firm, New World Associates, has led the Workforce Summit for Industry 4.0 in collaboration with the ASEE.
Sayre has been active in his local community, serving on the Town of Kennebunk Budget Board and acting as the Board’s liaison to RSU21.
