Representative Grayson Lookner

Grayson Lookner is a member of the Democratic Party serving his second term in the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 113, which includes part of Portland. He is a member of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee and the Joint Select Committee on Housing. His work extends beyond politics into community organizing, focusing on economic and environmental justice issues.

Lookner’s diverse career background includes roles as an emergency medical technician (EMT), a wilderness guide, and a behavioral health professional. He has also worked in his family’s restaurant business and has been involved in political campaigns aimed at democratic reforms and reducing the influence of big money in Maine politics. His international experience includes consulting for political parties in Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Educationally, Lookner attended Prescott College in Arizona after growing up in Maine.
