A graduate of Leavitt Area High School, Rep. Lyman holds an education degree from the University of Maine at Farmington and devoted her entire career to elementary education. Over 36 years, she served as a dedicated teacher at the same school, assuming leadership roles in district grade level work, curriculum, and assessment development at both local and state levels.
