Christine P. Barber is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 34th Middlesex District. She assumed office in January 2015. A resident of Somerville, Massachusetts, she was elected as a Democrat. Prior to her political career, Barber was a health care policy analyst. She is also a member of the Somerville Democratic Committee.

Barber’s current term ends on January 1, 2025. She ran for re-election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives to represent the 34th Middlesex District and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. Barber was first elected to the chamber in 2014.

Throughout her tenure, Barber has been assigned to various committees.
