Daniel Joseph Ryan is an American politician and a member of the Democratic Party. He represents the 2nd Suffolk District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Ryan was sworn in on April 16, 2014, to represent the 2nd Suffolk seat. His entry into office was marked by a special election that was called following the resignation of Eugene O’Flaherty. Ryan emerged victorious in the primary held on March 4 and the special election on April 1.

Ryan assumed office on April 16, 2014, and his current term ends on January 1, 2025. He ran for re-election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives to represent the 2nd Suffolk District and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
