Representative James Arena-DeRosa

James Arena-DeRosa is an American politician who is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 8th Middlesex district. He is a member of the Democratic Party and resides in Pepperell, Massachusetts. He assumed office on January 18, 2023.

Arena-DeRosa was elected in the November 2022 General Election, running against Republican Loring Barnes. His career experience includes working as a freelance community advocate, the president and CEO of Foodshare, the director of public advocacy of Oxfam America, the New England director of the Peace Corps under the Bill Clinton administration, the northeast regional administrator for the United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service under the Barack Obama administration, and the special assistant to the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth.
