Representative Jay Barrows
F. Jay Barrows, whose full name is Fred Jay Barrows, was born on April 5, 1956, in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He is a member of the Republican Party and has been representing the 1st Bristol district in the Massachusetts House of Representatives since 2007.
Barrows is a resident of Mansfield, Massachusetts, and is an alumnus of Mansfield High School. Professionally, he is an insurance agency owner and broker.
In addition to his legislative duties, Barrows has served in various roles such as the chair of the Mansfield Housing Authority from 2004 to 2006, and the Mansfield Republican Town Committee from 2003 to 2006. His professional experience includes working as president and owner of the Barrows Insurance Agency.
