Representative Judith Garcia
Judith García is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 11th Suffolk District. She assumed office on January 4, 2023, and her current term ends on January 1, 2025.
García ran for election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives to represent the 11th Suffolk District and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. Prior to this, she served on the Chelsea City Council, on the board of HarborCOV, and as a U.S. delegate to Russia with the American Council of Young Political Leaders.
She earned a B.A. in urban studies/affairs from Wheaton College Massachusetts. Her career experience includes working as the communications manager of The Neighborhood Developers.
In the 2023-2024 legislative session, García was assigned to the following committees: Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture Joint Committee, Public Health Joint Committee, Public Service Joint Committee, and State Administration and Regulatory Oversight Joint Committee.
