About Representative Angela Rigas
State Rep. Angela Rigas was first elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2022. Rigas represents the 79th District, which encompasses portions of Allegan, Barry, and Kent counties, and specifically the townships of Byron (part), Caledonia, Gaines, Irving, Leighton, Rutland, and Thornapple.
Education Rigas is a graduate of Hastings High School and small-business owner in the Salon Industry.
Professional and personal background Rigas is a life-long Michigan resident who resides in the Alto area in Kent County with her husband, Dave, and their four boys, three dogs, and four cats.
