About Representative Timmy Beson
Timmy Beson serves as a Republican Representative for District 96 in the Michigan state legislature.
Prior to his service in the House, Timmy owned and operated Beson’s Market - the family meat market and grocery store north of Bay City. Beson has represented Bay County residents in the Michigan House of Representatives since 2021. Beson also served as a trustee on the Bangor Township Schools Board of Education. Beson enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping with his family, and he is an avid golfer. Beson chairs the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and Insurance and Financial Services, and also serves on House Appropriations subcommittees on Corrections and Judiciary; Human Services; and School Aid and the Department of Education.
