Representative Liz Reyer
Liz Reyer is an American politician serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives. She is a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL) and represents District 51B in the southern Twin Cities metropolitan area, which includes the cities of Eagan and Burnsville and parts of Dakota County, Minnesota.
Reyer lives in Eagan, Minnesota. She earned a B.A. in Chinese from the University of Minnesota and an M.A. in political science from Ohio State University. Her career experience includes working as a researcher and leadership coach. She assumed office on January 3, 2023. Her current term ends on January 7, 2025.
Reyer is the DFL-endorsed candidate for House District 52A, representing parts of Burnsville and Eagan. She is a business leader, social activist, mother of four, and a long-time Eagan resident.
In addition to her political career, Reyer is also committed to working for racial and economic justice in Minnesota. She and her husband volunteer regularly at the Open Door, dedicating their time and resources to helping families in their community live with dignity.
