Senator Albert Butler
Albert Butler is a member of the Democratic Party and a distinguished member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing District 37. He assumed office on January 2, 2024, and his current term ends on January 4, 2028.
Before his current position, he served in the Mississippi State Senate District 36. His predecessor was Melanie Sojourner, and his successor in District 36 is Brian Rhodes.
Albert Butler was last elected on November 7, 2023. He receives a base salary of $23,500 per year and a per diem of $157 per day.
