Biography
Daniel Paul Eubanks is an American politician who has represented District 25 as a Republican in the Mississippi House of Representatives since 2016. He was born on June 11, 1970, in Hicksville, Ohio. He is a youth minister and runs a small business.
Eubanks was first elected to represent District 25 as a Republican in the Mississippi House of Representatives in 2015 for the 2016–2020 term. During his time in the Mississippi House of Representatives, Eubanks was a co-founder of the House’s Freedom Caucus. He was re-elected for the 2020–2024 term.
Eubanks put forward a bill in 2021 to charge abortion providers with murder. In 2022, Eubanks was one of six Republicans to vote against a bill to make equal pay for men and women a legal necessity. He was a candidate in the 2024 United States Senate election in Mississippi, challenging incumbent Roger Wicker in the Republican primary. He lost, receiving 14% of the vote.
Eubanks is married to the former Corey Moore-Luckhardt. They have one child together.
Personal Life
Dan Eubanks is a 35 year resident of DeSoto County. He is a Pastor, Businessman, Husband, and Father. The middle child of five, Dan is the son of John and Ruth Eubanks of Tate County. He has been married to Corey Eubanks for 23 years, and is the father of one.
Dan has attended Northwest Mississippi Community College, Kilgore College, Karl Franzens Universitat (Graz, Austria), Universidad de Autodenoma (Guadalajara, Mexico), The University of Arkansas, and Mid-America Baptist Seminary. Dan holds degrees in Commercial Photography and Business Finance, with additional studies in International Business, German, Spanish Culture/Language, and Theology. He graduated a prestigious Donaghey Scholar from the University of Arkansas in 1994.
Dan has been a business owner in DeSoto County for 25+ years. From 2005 to 2016 Dan served as a full time pastor and Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for Advent Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee. Since his election, he serves as Advent’s Director of Recreation and Local Outreach and also serves as the Interim Campus Pastor for Advent’s Arlington Campus. While in session, Dan leads the weekly Capitol Prayer Group which is made up of state wide elected leaders, legislators, state agency employees, and lobbyist.
Dan is a conservative Christian, who believes in fiscal responsibility, limited government, states’ rights (federalism), education and tax reform, traditional family values, the Right to Life, the protection of our religious and civil liberties, and representative transparency and cooperation. Dan has a deep love for Mississippi, DeSoto County, and for all of his neighbors in his home District of 25. He is a proven leader, honest, moral, full of integrity, and extremely hard working.
