Biography

Wendell Hobdy “Hob” Bryan II is an American politician who has been a member of the Mississippi State Senate from the 7th District since 1984. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He is the son of Wendell Hobdy Bryan I and Sarah Nadine (Morgan) Bryan.

Education

Bryan earned his B.A. from Mississippi State University, and J.D. from the University of Virginia.

Career

His professional experience includes working as an attorney. He assumed office in 1984 and his current term ends on January 4, 2028. Bryan ran for re-election to the Mississippi State Senate to represent District 7. He won in the general election on November 7, 2023.
