Early Life and Education: Anderson graduated from Moss Point High School and pursued higher education at Pearl River Community College. There, he earned an associate degree in criminal justice while excelling as a soccer player on a scholarship. Continuing his educational journey, Anderson attended Tulane University, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in homeland security.

Community Leadership: At the young age of 16, Anderson founded the nonprofit organization “Purple Knights of America.” This initiative aimed to mentor young males aged 11 to 18, providing guidance and support. His commitment to community service and youth development has been unwavering.

Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing: Anderson wears multiple hats. Besides his political career, he is the founder and CEO of NexiWorks, a digital marketing agency based in Mississippi. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to promoting local businesses have positively impacted the state’s economy.

Political Journey: In 2013, Anderson made history by becoming the youngest African-American candidate ever elected to any legislature in the United States. These included the formation of a Commission Against Interpersonal Violence within the state health department, granting increased Homestead Property Tax Exemptions for disabled veterans, and extending these exemptions to the unmarried surviving spouses of such veterans.
