Representative Kevin Horan
Kevin Horan, born on October 29, 1961, is a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 34. He assumed office in 2012. His current term ends on January 4, 2028. Horan ran for re-election to the Mississippi House of Representatives to represent District 34 and won in the general election on November 7, 2023.
Horan was first elected to the district in 2015. He previously represented Mississippi House District 24 from 2012 to 2016. On January 6, 2020, Horan announced he was leaving the Democratic Party to register as an independent. He later registered as a Republican.
Horan’s professional experience includes working as an attorney at the firm of Horan & Horan in Grenada, specializing in criminal defense cases and personal injury/wrongful death civil suits. He was also the CFO of Milestone Hospice.
In terms of education, Horan attended Water Valley High School. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi and a Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law.
