Otis Anthony, born on July 12, 1979, in Indianola, Mississippi, is an American politician serving as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from the 31st district. He assumed office on December 13, 2018.

Early Life and Education: Anthony graduated from Gentry High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and pre-law from Tougaloo College. He also holds another Bachelor of Arts, in theology, from Agape Bible College.

Career: Before his political career, Anthony owned Anthony and Company, LLC, a financial planning company. He is also a pastor. He was elected to the Mississippi House of Representatives in November 2018 and assumed office on December 13, 2018. During his tenure in the House, Anthony has served as vice chair of the Youth and Family Affairs Committee.

Personal Life: Representative Otis is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity Inc, and Cutting edge gentlemen’s club. He is married to the former Porchia Caldwell. They are of Christian Baptist denomination.

Political Career: In the 2023 elections, Otis Anthony (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Mississippi House of Representatives to represent District 31. He won in the general election on November 7, 2023. His current term ends on January 4, 2028.
