Sam Creekmore IV
Samuel J. Creekmore IV, born on September 24, 1966, in Starkville, Mississippi, is an American landscape architect and a Republican politician. He is a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing the state’s 14th district since 2020.
Education and Career: Creekmore graduated from Mississippi State University and pursued a career as a landscape architect. His professional affiliations include the America Society of Landscape, National Federation of Independent Business, New Albany Sustainability Advisors, and New Albany Main Street.
Political Career: Creekmore’s political journey began when he was elected to represent Mississippi’s 14th House district, composed of Union County, in the Mississippi House of Representatives as a Republican in 2019. He was inaugurated on January 7, 2020. His current term ends on January 4, 2028.
In his tenure, Creekmore has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 term, he served on the House Agriculture Committee, House Drug Policy Committee, House Education Committee, Judiciary B Committee, Judiciary En Banc Committee, and Workforce Development Committee.
