Representative Stacey Hobgood-Wilkes

Stacey Hobgood-Wilkes is an American politician who currently serves as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from the 108th district. Elected in November 2016, she assumed office in January 2017.

Education: After graduating from Picayune Memorial High School, Hobgood-Wilkes attended Pearl River Community College. She later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in American studies and business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Career: Before entering politics, Hobgood-Wilkes worked as a public relations consultant and insurance agent. Her diverse background equipped her with valuable skills that she now brings to her legislative role.

During the 2019–2020 legislative session, she served as vice chair of the Marine Resources Committee, demonstrating her commitment to environmental issues. In the subsequent 2020–2021 session, she continued her leadership as vice chair of the House Constitution Committee.

Beyond her official duties, Hobgood-Wilkes is an active member of the Mississippi Republican Party State Executive Committee and the Pearl River County Republican Executive Committee. She also contributes to her community as a member of the Pearl River County Republican Women and holds the distinction of being a Rotarian-Paul Harris Fellow recipient. Additionally, she is a life member of the Picayune Junior Auxiliary.
