Representative Mike Jones
Mike Jones is a dedicated public servant and a member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing the 12th district. He assumed office on January 8, 2025, succeeding Jamie Johnson. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Jones graduated from Park Hill High School in 1996. He later earned a bachelor’s degree in management and leadership from Friends University while working full-time in equipment maintenance.
Jones served in the United States Air Force from 1997 to 2001, where he performed maintenance on AC-130 Gunships. After his military service, he returned to Kansas City and established Elite Painting KC, a company specializing in residential painting. In addition to his painting business, Jones holds a Missouri real estate license.
Jones’s commitment to his community is evident in his work as a representative. He focuses on issues such as economic development, education, and veterans’ affairs. His dedication to public service and his strong work ethic have earned him the respect and support of his constituents.
Jones lives in Kansas City with his wife, Michelle. They have two children, Mike and Mya, and a grandson named Rocky.
