Representative Greg Kmetz
Greg Kmetz is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 38 in the Montana House of Representatives. He assumed office on January 2, 2023, and his current term ends on January 6, 2025.
Kmetz was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and currently resides in Miles City, Montana. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial education from the University of Wyoming. His career experience includes owning his own welding and machine shop and working as a welding instructor.
He ran for election to the Montana House of Representatives to represent District 38 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. In the 2023-2024 session, Kmetz was assigned to several committees, including the Agriculture Committee, Energy, Technology, and Federal Relations Committee, House Judiciary Committee, and House Legislative Administration Committee.
