Representative Jodee Etchart

Jodee Etchart is a dedicated public servant and a proud representative of Montana’s House District 51. With deep roots in the state, her family has been part of Montana’s history since 1908, when her great-grandfather homesteaded in the Huntley Project area. His love for the United States, declared upon his return from a visit to his homeland in 1924, has been a guiding principle for Jodee and her family ever since.

Jodee’s educational journey reflects her commitment to serving others. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Montana State University-Billings and later pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain College. For over two decades, she has worked as a Physician Assistant, providing compassionate care and advocating for better healthcare access for Montanans.

As a legislator, Jodee is known for her fiscal conservatism and her dedication to eliminating unnecessary regulations that hinder economic growth. She is passionate about creating policies that encourage job creation, responsible natural resource development, and economic stability. Her legislative priorities include reducing property taxes, improving access to healthcare, lowering prescription drug costs, and promoting safe and thriving communities.

She is a staunch defender of constitutional freedoms and individual liberties, working tirelessly to protect the values that Montanans hold dear. Outside of her professional life, Jodee is a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband have been married for over 22 years and share a love for Montana’s natural beauty and community spirit. In her free time, Jodee enjoys gardening, target shooting, and planning events that bring people together.
