Senator Dunixi Guereca

Dunixi Guereca is a member of the Democratic Party serving in the Nebraska State Senate, representing District 7. He assumed office on January 8, 2025, and his current term is set to end on January 3, 2029.

Born on October 1, 1988, in Torrance, California, Guereca has built a career rooted in public service and community engagement. He graduated from Mira Costa High School in 2006 and has since dedicated his professional life to advocating for social justice and equity. Before entering politics, he worked as a nonprofit executive director, where he focused on initiatives that supported underserved communities. His previous roles include serving as an organizer for the Service Employees International Union and as a business director for the Boy Scouts of America.
