Assemblymember Cinthia Moore

Cinthia Moore is a member of the Democratic Party serving in the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 11. She assumed office on November 6, 2024, and her current term is set to end on November 4, 2026.

Born in Jalisco, Mexico, Cinthia Moore moved to East Las Vegas with her family over 30 years ago. Her upbringing in a hardworking immigrant family shaped her perspective and commitment to public service. Her father ran a small carpentry business, while her mother worked in the service industry as a housekeeper. These experiences instilled in her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by working families and immigrant communities.

Before entering politics, Moore was a dedicated advocate for environmental justice. She coordinated the Nevada Environmental Justice Coalition, where she worked tirelessly to address issues like air pollution and clean energy. Her efforts were aimed at improving the health and well-being of the residents of East Las Vegas, a community she has called home for decades.

As a legislator, Moore is passionate about addressing the needs of her constituents. She is committed to improving education, healthcare, and job opportunities for all Nevadans. She also champions reproductive rights and immigrant rights, striving to ensure that every voice in her community is heard and represented.
