Representative Duy Nguyen
Duy Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American politician who has been serving as a member of the Nevada Assembly since 2022. He is a member of the Democratic Party and represents parts of Las Vegas.
Born in Vietnam in either 1979 or 1980, Nguyen and his family immigrated to the United States in 1990 when he was 11 years old. At that time, he didn’t know any English. His father had left the family behind when Nguyen was just 4 years old to make the journey to the United States and establish a life for them.
Nguyen has been married to his wife since at least 2013, and they have one son and one daughter. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In terms of education, Nguyen earned a B.S. in business management in 2006 and an M.B.A. in 2008, both from the University of Phoenix.
As a legislator, Nguyen has been involved in various committees and has sponsored several bills. His office is located at 7322 South Rainbow Boulevard, No. 198, Las Vegas, NV 89139-0400.
