Representative Elaine Marzola
Elaine Marzola is a member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 21. She assumed office on November 4, 2020. Her current term ends on November 6, 2024. Marzola is running for re-election to the Nevada State Assembly to represent District 21.
Elaine Marzola was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She immigrated with her parents to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1984. Marzola earned a B.S. in women’s studies from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 2006 and a J.D. from the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2010.
During her undergraduate years, she first volunteered for and then was employed by SafeNest domestic violence shelter. Her career experience includes working as an attorney and a judicial law clerk.
In the Nevada State Assembly, Marzola has been assigned to various committees. In the 2023-2024 term, she served as the Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee, a member of the Growth and Infrastructure Committee, and the Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee.
