Born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, Baroody’s educational journey started at Manchester Central High School, from where he graduated in 1964. He later pursued higher education at La Salle Extension University, graduating in 1969.

Baroody’s political career has been extensive and impactful. He served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 1992 to 2012. After a brief hiatus, he was re-elected to the House on November 4, 2014, representing the Hillsborough 43 district. He assumed office on December 3, 2014. His dedication and commitment to public service led to his re-election in 2022, this time representing the Hillsborough 39 district.
