Charlie St. Clair was born and raised in Laconia, New Hampshire, but has also lived in Brookline, Massachusetts, as well as Denver and Boulder, Colorado. Since 1991, he has served as the Executive Director of the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association. Throughout his career, Charlie has owned and operated various retail and restaurant businesses in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He currently owns the Laconia Antique Center in downtown Laconia, NH. Charlie holds a bachelor’s degree in history and has a wide range of interests, including reading, law, politics, history, collecting antiques, and traveling.

Charlie previously served as a New Hampshire State Representative from 2017 to 2020 and was a member of the House Transportation Committee. He is also actively involved in local government, serving on the City of Laconia Planning Board.

Miscellaneous Information

Charlie and his cohost, Jennifer Anderson, host the talk show “Today in Focus” on Lakes Region Public Access. The hour-long weekly show, which has been on air for over a decade, covers a variety of topics from local and national interest stories to political coverage for elections.

A passionate motorcyclist, Charlie rides a Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic and has traveled cross-country annually for over forty-five years to attend the sister rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. His dedication to the motorcycle community was recognized in 2008 when he was inducted into the Sturgis Museum Hall of Fame, and in 2017 when he was named “Promoter of the Year” by the American Motorcyclist Association.
