Representative Chris Muns Contact information

Chris Muns is a dedicated and experienced public servant who currently serves as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Rockingham 29. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024.

Born and raised in London, England, Muns graduated from the American School in London in 1973. He then moved to the United States for higher education. He earned a B.A., cum laude, in economics from Bowdoin College in 1977 and an M.B.A. in finance/accounting from Dartmouth College’s Amos Tuck School of Business Administration in 1982.

Muns has had a diverse career, working in a variety of human resource management roles for organizations such as Raytheon, Fisher Scientific, Fidelity Investment, and Comverse Technologies. Before retiring in 2020, Muns was the CEO of One Sky Community Services, a nonprofit based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

In addition to his professional career, Muns has been active in politics. He ran for election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Rockingham 29 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. He was also a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 24 of the New Hampshire State Senate.

As a legislator, Muns has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 term, he was assigned to the Science, Technology and Energy Committee. In the 2013-2014 term, at the beginning of the legislative session, Muns served on the Commerce and Consumer Affairs committee as a Clerk.

Muns’ dedication to public service and his extensive experience in both the private sector and government make him a valuable member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
