Cyril Aures, also known as Cy, is a member of the Republican Party and a representative of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, specifically representing Merrimack 13. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024.

Cyril Aures lives in New Hampshire. His career experience includes working as an accountant, auditor, senior analyst, controller, and vice president of finance. He has also taught accounting at Broome Community College in New York and algebra at Trinity Christian High School in Morgantown, West Virginia.

In addition to his professional career, Aures has been involved in grassroots political activities, including sign placement for various candidates such as Eddie Edwards, Paul Halverson, Don Bolduc, Chuck Morse, and Howard Pearl. He has also attended many sessions in the NH House dealing with 2nd Amendment issues.

In his personal life, Aures has been married for 47 years to Rosemary Aures, and they have four children and six grandchildren. He has survived four terrorist attacks: the NYC 9-11 attack, the Anthrax attack in NJ, the Civic Center attack in Binghamton NY, and the London England bombing of buses and tube.

In the 2022 elections, Aures ran for election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Merrimack 13. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022. He was asked to run for the House by Dan McGuire and Clayton Wood, and he developed a winning campaign strategy with Clayton Wood. They ran as a team, chose unique colors of dark green, yellow, white, to make their signs stand out from all the others. They won their campaign due to working very hard, paying attention to detail and campaigned with a sense of urgency.
