Senator David Rochefort

David Rochefort is a Republican member of the New Hampshire State Senate, representing District 1. He assumed office on December 4, 2024, and his current term is set to end on December 2, 2026.

Born in Lancaster, New Hampshire, David Rochefort has deep roots in the community he now serves. He pursued his education at the University of Rhode Island, earning a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1997. His professional journey began as a pharmacist, and he later became a business owner, establishing Eastern States Compounding Pharmacy in Littleton. This pharmacy was the first of its kind in New Hampshire, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to innovation in healthcare. After years of successfully running the business, he sold it in 2022.

David’s dedication to public service is evident in his extensive involvement in community and state affairs. He served on the Littleton Zoning Board of Adjustment and was appointed to the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy by Governor Chris Sununu. During his tenure on the board, he held various roles, including vice president, and contributed to drafting and adopting critical regulations in the field of pharmacy.

Beyond his professional and public service achievements, David is a family man who values the quality of life in New Hampshire’s North Country. He is married and has three daughters. His personal interests include skiing, hiking, hunting, and exploring historical sites across the United States. David’s appreciation for New Hampshire’s four distinct seasons and its outdoor activities underscores his connection to the region he represents.
