Representative Eric Turer

Eric Turer is an American politician who serves as a Democratic member for the Rockingham 6th district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He assumed office on December 7, 2022. His current term ends on December 4, 2024.

Born in the Bronx, New York, Turer now resides in Brentwood, New Hampshire. He earned an M.B.A. in health systems administration from Union College in 1989. His career experience includes working in health care systems and as a policy consultant.

Before his political career, Turer was a board member of the New England Rural Health Association. He ran for election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Rockingham 6 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. He defeated incumbent Melissa Litchfield, winning 50 percent of the votes.

Turer’s family has lived in Brentwood for over 22 years, and they have a deep love for this community and for New Hampshire. He ran for the NH House with the goal of bringing sound policy fundamentals back into politics.
