Gary’s professional background includes a career as an independent insurance agent and a Certified Long-Term Care Specialist (CLTC). His educational journey began at Milford Area High School, followed by studies at the New Hampshire Technical Institute and New Hampshire College, where he honed his skills and knowledge to serve his community effectively.

Gary’s commitment to public service is evident in his extensive political career. He has served in various capacities, including as a State Senator for the districts of Amherst, Merrimack, Milford, and Wilton. His tenure in the New Hampshire State Senate spanned multiple terms, during which he held key positions such as Chair of the Senate Capital Budget Committee and member of the Senate Judiciary and Transportation Committee. Gary’s legislative experience also includes serving as a State Representative for several districts, where he contributed to important committees like the House Labor Committee, which he chaired during multiple terms.

Beyond his legislative roles, Gary has been actively involved in local government. He served on the Milford Board of Selectmen for over two decades and was a member of the Milford School Board. His dedication to education and community development was further demonstrated through his role as the Milford School District Moderator.
