Henry Noël is a dedicated public servant and a member of the Democratic Party. He represents Coos 5 in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. His tenure began on December 7, 2022, and his current term is set to end on December 4, 2024.

Born and raised in Berlin, New Hampshire, Noël is a proud local who has dedicated his life to serving his community. He graduated from Notre-Dame High School in 1967 and went on to earn a B.A. in English literature from Boston College.

Noël’s career is diverse and rooted in service. He has worked at the Cog Railway, at the North Stratford Railroad, and as general manager for the Berlin Mills Railway. He also served as general manager of the Berlin Mills Railway wastewater treatment plants, and then with the City of Berlin as a lab technician and superintendent in their wastewater treatment plant.

In addition to his professional roles, Noël has also been active in local governance and community organizations. He served for one year on the Berlin planning board and served several years as a board member of United Way.

In the 2022 general election, Noël ran for election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Coos 5. He won the general election on November 8, 2022, marking the beginning of his current term.

As a legislator, Noël has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 term, he was assigned to the Science, Technology and Energy Committee. In the 2019-2020 term, he was assigned to the Resources, Recreation and Development Committee.
