Representative Lucius Parshall
Lucius Parshall is an American politician who serves as a Democratic member for the Cheshire 8th district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024.
Before his current position, he served as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives from the Cheshire 10th district from 2020 to December 7, 2022. He has been affiliated with the Democratic Party.
Lucius Parshall was born in Penn Yan, New York. He earned an associate degree from Finger Lakes Community College in 1982, a bachelor’s degree in music from Ithaca College in 1987, and a master’s degree in business administration from Binghamton University in 1989.
Parshall’s career experience includes working as a music teacher, in arts administration for WNYC Public Radio in New York and the Cummington Arts Colony in Massachusetts, in food service, as a ranch hand, and as a truck driver. Parshall has been affiliated with the UAW, the NEA, and the Unitarian Universalist Church.
He has lived in Cheshire County for 25 years, the last three in Marlborough. He shares his home with his wife, daughter, and son. He has worked as an administrator, grant writer, and consultant in upstate New York.
In the 2023-2024 term, Parshall was assigned to the Science, Technology, and Energy Committee. He also served on the same committee in the 2021-2022 term.
