Representative Mark Proulx
Mark Proulx is an American politician who serves as a Republican member for the Hillsborough 15th district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He has had a significant political career, with multiple terms in office.
Mark Proulx first served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 15 from 2010 to 2012. He then served for the Hillsborough 44th district from 2014 to 2020. He assumed his current office for the Hillsborough 15th district on December 7, 2022. His current term is set to end on December 4, 2024.
In addition to his political career, Mark Proulx has had a notable professional career. He is a business owner, owning Tactical Protection Services and Firehouse Emergency Training. Prior to this, he served with Nashua Fire Rescue. Mark retired from Nashua fire as a lieutenant after 30 years of service. He has also worked in private EMS off and on for 25 years, rising to the level of advanced EMT. Mark is also a member of Massachusetts one Disaster Medical Assistance Team.
Throughout his political career, Mark Proulx has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 term, he was assigned to the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee. In the 2019-2020 term, he was assigned to the House Executive Departments and Administration Committee. Mark Proulx ran for election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Hillsborough 15 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. He and incumbent Mark McLean defeated Brandon Lemay and Lara Quiroga in the general election for New Hampshire House of Representatives Hillsborough 15.
