Representative Michael Aron

Michael Aron is a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He represents the Sullivan 8th district and assumed office on December 4, 2024. His current term is set to end on December 2, 2026.

Michael Aron has a rich background in both professional and community service. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the State University of New York at New Paltz and later pursued a master’s degree in organizational industrial psychology from the University of New Haven. Before entering politics, Michael had a successful career as an information technology manager in the insurance industry, retiring in 2022.

Michael’s involvement in local governance began long before his election to the state legislature. He served on the Acworth Planning Board starting in 2014 and became its chair in 2023. Additionally, he was appointed to the Fall Mountain Regional School District Budget Committee in 2022, where he played a significant role in overseeing financial matters. His dedication to his community extended to his work with the Acworth Community Project, a nonprofit organization that manages the South Acworth Village Store.

A long-time member of the Sullivan County Republican Committee, Michael has been its chair since 2018, actively working to support local candidates and Republican initiatives. His commitment to public speaking and leadership is evident through his 23-year membership in Toastmasters International, where he has achieved the prestigious Distinguished Toastmaster award twice.

Michael Aron is also a family man. He and his wife, Judy Aron, have three adult children and two grandchildren. The couple resides in Acworth, New Hampshire, along with their pets and a flock of chickens. Judy Aron is also active in politics, and the two have campaigned together, sharing their vision for their community.

Michael’s journey from local governance to the state legislature reflects his deep commitment to serving his community and making a positive impact on the lives of his constituents. His diverse experiences and dedication to public service continue to shape his contributions to the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
