Michael Pedersen is a dedicated public servant and a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He represents the Hillsborough 32 district. His journey into politics began when he was elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives on November 6, 2018.

Before his political career, Pedersen had a successful career as a communications systems engineer for 25 years. He is now retired from this profession. His educational background includes a B.S in electronic engineering technology which he earned from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

In addition to his role as a state representative, Pedersen has also served his community in other capacities. He is a current member of the Nashua City Planning Board and was a former Secretary of Trestle Brook Crime Watch. His commitment to his community is evident in his various roles and his dedication to public service.

Pedersen assumed office on December 7, 2022, along with his colleagues William Dolan and Allison Nutting-Wong. They represent New Hampshire House of Representatives District Hillsborough 9. As of the 2020 Census, New Hampshire state representatives represented an average of 3,448 residents. After the 2010 Census, each member represented 3,304 residents.

Members of the New Hampshire House of Representatives serve two-year terms and are not subject to term limits. New Hampshire legislators assume office on the first Wednesday of December following the general election. To be eligible to serve in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, a candidate must be at least 18 years of age, a registered voter, a resident of the state for two years immediately preceding the election, and a resident of the town or ward the candidate is running to represent.
